Viewing boxes at Seinpaalduin West-Terschelling in the context of commemoration 1666
The unique viewpoint on the Seinpaalduin in West-Terschelling is the place to give an impression of what it was like here in 1666. In consultation with Staatsbosbeheer, two special viewing boxes have been placed with an information board. When looking through the viewing box, the fire of West-Terschelling can be seen with the natural background of the village. The viewing box that is aimed at sea shows the burning ships on the roadstead at Vlieland. In addition, an information board has been placed with a brief explanation of the disasters in August 1666.
