Do & Knowledge lecture Planet Texel: puzzling with space by Eric Hercules
Staatsbosbeheer Terschelling and Rijkswaterstaat organized a Do & Knowledge Day in and around Ieders Plak on 1 November 2015. During this day a number of lectures were given. This is one of these lectures: Planet Texel: puzzling with space by Eric Hercules. On an island it is a puzzle with space; holiday homes, nature, agriculture, houses, companies fight each other for a place. In the Planet Texel project, this puzzle has been redone, but in such a way that different initiatives reinforce each other. Eric Herculus, councilor for area development and sustainability of Texel is happy to pass on the inspiration. Planet Texel is not about short-term thinking, but offers a vision for the coming decades. What can Terschelling learn from this?
